Anne Appleby lives in Clancy, Montana. She attended Philadelphia College of Art, Pennsylvania, and received a BFA in painting from University of Montana, Missoula, and her MFA in painting from the San Francisco Art Institute. She has had more than 45 solo exhibitions nationally.
Karl Burkheimer lives in Portland, Oregon. He earned a Bachelor of Environmental Design in Architecture in 1988, from North Carolina State University and received his MFA in 1996, from Virginia Commonwealth University. He has had solo exhibitions at Disjecta, Portland, Oregon; Doppler, PDX Contemporary Art, Portland, Oregon; and PDX Contemporary Window Project.
Isaac Layman is a Pacific Northwest native who resides in Seattle. He received his BFA from the University of Washington in 2002. Layman has exhibited worldwide, including exhibits at Norton Museum of Art in West Palm Beach, Florida; Palazzo Pio in Rome; the DeCordova Sculpture Park and Museum, Lincoln, Massachusetts; the Frye Art Museum, Seattle; and the SoHo Photo Gallery, New York.
Abbie Miller has lived in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, since 1988. She received her BFA from the University of Wyoming in 2004 with a minor in apparel construction, holds a post-baccalaureate certificate from Maryland Institute College of Art, 2005, and a MFA from Cranbrook Academy of Art, 2007.
Nicholas Nyland is a Northwest native residing in Tacoma, Washington. He received his BFA from the University of Washington, Seattle in 1999 and an MFA from the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia in 2002. He has had solo exhibitions at galleries including Prole Drift, Seattle; Backspace, Peoria, Illinois; SOIL Gallery, Seattle; and Mineral, Tacoma, Washington. His work has been included in numerous group exhibitions.
Trimpin, born in Germany, lives in Seattle. He apprenticed in electromechanical engineering from 1966 to 1973. He earned a master's degree in music and art from the University of Berlin in 1979 and moved to Seattle that year. In 1999, kinetic/sound artist Trimpin began performing worldwide appearing at SoundCulture Festival in Auckland, New Zealand; the San Francisco Electronic Music Festival; and Ojai Music Festival in California.
