The Tenth Street Studio Building

Bio

Designed by Richard Morris Hunt in 1857 and opened in 1858 at 15 Tenth Street (changed to 51 West Tenth Street in 1866), New York City. Building was designed for artist studio spaces and was the center of the mid-19th century American art scene.
