Bio

A position as an artist for the Bonneville Power Administration brought Willard Johnson to Oregon in 1948. He painted many Northwest scenes with a strong, forceful technique and a free-flowing style. His work was exhibited at the Portland Art Museum, the Dekum Gallery, and the Elfstrom Gallery. His wife, Ann Michalov Johnson, was an artist specializing in printmaking and watercolors.
